I'm starting to really like this Grien character, he's doing a great job fulfilling Grian's legacy

In both main editions of the game, the dragon egg has no use and its pure decoration. In BOTH bedrock and java, you need four end crystals to respawn the dragon. If you burn or destroy the dragon egg in some way, it doesn't affect how you spawn the dragon.
In short once more, the dragon egg has no real use except for wanting to move it around is annoying as heck.

Netherite gives increased armour toughness, meaning that high damage attacks pierce armour less, and it boosts weapon damage.

Loving this series, glad you let Grien take over for you, so far he's doing a good job

He did the right thing with staying on this server, because even though they are okay I always find solo hardcore series boring and multiplayer gives real fun interactions and content.

I hope this Grien character joins hermitcraft, he seems like a good sport.

I thought that the vindicator was invisible when I saw the clip in the last episode, because that's actually happened to me before, but if you go through it frame by frame you can see that it just spawned right on top of him.

I'm happy you started over. This is a great server with adequate players

I kind of really like the idea of the “iterative” hardcore world. It’s like living in a world filled with the “ruins” of past players.
A cool data-pack addition that could help enforce the rules would be to lock or empty all of the chests that were placed by a player once they die, effectively getting rid of all of their items.

It’s weird how Grien is talking as if he had already been through the experience on this world… also, why not Grumbo? It could’ve explained the moustache and been a nice reference to Grumbot. I mean you don’t have parents in this world so… do you name yourself, are you born with a name tag, can you just legally become someone else? The lore of this series needs to be explained

Grien has got to be one of my absolute FAVORITE youtubers.

Grian: in my experience 3 stacks of tnt is enough for 3 netherite ingots(equivalent to 12 ancient debris)
Also grian getting 12 anchient debris exactly as he expected: not as much as I expected

Honestly watching him make back all of that work was impressive

Considering it is a series with friends, I think this is the better choice. Not only that, but you have already cleared out multiple areas, so now there are areas you can go to but that have nothing in them, or not much anyway. So this technically makes things slightly harder since you're staying in the same area.
And in all honesty I've played hardcore like this in other games, where you lose everything you have not the world. So I have no issue with this

Personally I feel that so long as he waits until he hosta wait the same amount of time it took him to initially build the first mega build he did and after that time has elapsed we can consider it that he has innocence dumb everything needed to make the build as he is not only done it again but he's waited the proper amount of time amazing with both sides finished and connected and looking cool

Honestly I'm a fan of the "abstract" improvised building style you're going for this time, it's just really cool seeing what you come up with on the fly.

This is so cool! It reminds me of that zombie game where you can see your zombified self after you die and you're on another run. You can find the ruins of another player who lived before you

I think you should be able to add or subtract from Grian's build, just so it looks symmetric.

I've been lacking sleep and phased out when Grian said "Grian died last episode"
and i reacted like "wow really? how did you both die in one episo- hold on a sec"

I hope that grien gets added to hermitcraft next season, I feel he would be a nice change and add a lot to the lore
