I just realized the reason why Grian was on half a heart for so long was to end mumbo's "peace love and plant"-thing when he asked mumbo to give him a high five in the boaten hole, right before the end of the season. I wish he didn't cut this out of the video cause this is so funny

@Gur Lempel If Mumbo were to give him a high five, it would mean punching him, and as he is on half a heart, it would kill him. Doing that would defeat what Mumbo has been saying for the entire season, which is, "peace love and plants". Grian would never respawn, therefore he would be taking the life of something without 'replacing/ replanting it'. :)

The shortest season I have ever seen of hermitcraft from Grian himself. Yet so sad it had to end so quickly I may have not watched a lot of this season but I will for next season.
@Tempest Animations I'm pretty sure it was meant to be a proper season but because of the caves and cliffs update they cut it short to play with the new... Caves and cliffs

I love how they are so chill and peaceful talking while floating in the emptiness of space
I just realized this is exactly like the plot of Majora’s Mask. The last three episodes have been exactly like the three days shown in the game. The ground is shaking, blocks are flying, the music even changed to match what it was like in the game. The attention to detail is *chef’s kiss*

its weird how much the uploads for this series has changed with each season. the first season grian joined he had 100 somethin episodes, last season he had 77, now this one only 27. either way im pleased with the content and don’t have any complaints, im just curious what other people think about this?
I'm not sure why this season was short, but season six was abnormally long for everyone.

I really enjoyed this series! It was my first time watching any hermitcraft content and any of your content and I have to say, it was really well put together! I love the vibe you had all season long of being a chaotic prankster and making sure that it was never too much / always helping in the clean up. Wholesome fun! Also, I found this series and your channel through the videos you've made with Smallishbeans, so I really hope that he'll appear in the next season of hermitcraft! He'd fit right in.

Best Segway to a new season ever, I didn’t even realize how quickly this season went by
Although this season is very short, it's also very pretty and amazing and as good as the past season. The magnificent build, terraforming, lore, humor, joke, the boatem pole, hexagon shenanigans, your shenanigans, just, everything is very nice. i especially love the builds, they have those just amazing vibe. Take your break, as long as you enjoy the season, we will also enjoy it.

Rewatched this again last night, it's such a good episode. I loved the moon big plot a lot and I remember being so impressed the first time I saw the animation at the end and everything. Now I'm looking ahead into S9, but S8 was so special.

It's so weird...I was thinking that...well, Season 8 hadn't been nearly as good as Season 7, so when the whole Moon thing started and I figured it would be ending, I didn't think I'd miss it. But the way that everyone plays out this story-arch, and literally seeing the world ripped apart to the degree that it was...It actually made me care a lot more than I thought I would.
